Robert C. Pennington, MD

A highly trained and qualified board certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine. Dr. Pennington received his medical degree from the University Of North Carolina School of Medicine in 1986.  He then completed his internship and residency training at Duke University Medical Center specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. In 1990, after graduation Dr. Pennington and Dr. Kallianos started Durham Adult and Childhood Medicine and later changed the name to Triangle Community Physicians, P.A. with more focus in adult medicine.

Dr. Pennington is married with one child.

You can count on Dr. Pennington to provide highly professional care with a caring and compassionate approach.

John A. Kallianos, MD

Dr. Kallianos offers his patients a personable side of medicine with a high degree of professionalism. He received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in 1986, and then completed his internship and residency training at Duke University Medical Center, as well specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.  In 1990, after graduation Dr. Kallianos and Dr. Pennington started Durham Adult and Childhood Medicine and later changed the name to Triangle Community Physicians, P.A. with more focus in adult medicine.

Dr. Kallianos is married with three children.

Kombiz P. Klein, DO                    What is a D.O.?

Dr. Klein is originally from south Florida and graduated from University of Florida with a bachelor of science in Microbiology.  He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.  He completed his internship/residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 2001 at the University of Texas—Houston.  He, his wife and two children moved to Durham in 2001, and Dr. Klein has been at Triangle Community Physicians since.  As a primary care physician, he treats a wide array of health issues from prevention and treatment of common health complaints to management of complex medical problems that may arise is infants, children and adult men and women.

Kate McNulty, ANP

Kate was born and raised right here in Durham. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She attended Simmons University, where she obtained her Masters Of Science in Nursing in 2007. Kate is married with two daughters and the cutest puppy. Bull city pride and a true passion for her profession are demonstrated in the excellent comprehensive adult and teen care she provides. Ms. McNulty has special training in women’s health and is accepting patients of all genders.
